NHL Rumors: Detroit Red Wings and Minnesota Wild
Anthony Di Marco of the Daily Faceoff stated on TSN Radio that while Detroit Red Wings GM Steve Yzerman keeping Dylan Larkin is theoretically possible, it is highly unlikely because the Minnesota Wild need center help and Yzerman would likely trade him. Di Marco suggested that Wild GM Bill Guerin may be the one to "bamboozle" into making a deal for Larkin, though he acknowledged uncertainty about whether Yzerman would pursue such a trade. Di Marco also noted that while the Wild might prefer to wait for the possibility of Jack Hughes becoming available, they cannot bank on New Jersey making him available and therefore may need to pursue other options.
