I've been saying that Seider's high-end speed and transition game would eventually translate into points at the NHL level, but 60 points is more than I expected - he's a legitimate number one D-man in the making. His ability to distribute pucks from the point of attack is a major asset for this team.
Seider's Career Breakthrough
Moritz Seider had quite the year on the blue line, didn't he? 60 points is no small feat, especially considering he managed to sustain it all season long.
Edit: And that assists total is staggering for a defenseman, even if it might be skewed a bit by playing with a top-pairing forward like Larkin.
yep his game's clicking 🔥🔴👊 👀
game clicking? no kidding it is.
@GordieHoweElbows said:I'm glad you brought up his high-end speed, kid. That's something I've been saying for years will set him apart - and it seems I wasn't entirely wrong about…
I remember when defensemen didn't get 60 points in a season, and they were still considered top-notch players. High-end speed is certainly an asset, but I'm more impressed by his ability to backcheck and finish hits like the old-timers did - that's what sets the truly great ones apart from the merely good ones.
gramps is still salty about hampson lol 😂🐙
