I don't see how we "received no value" at all - the prospect of having a decent shot at a top 5 pick next year or getting an asset like that for free is already more valuable than most first-round picks I've seen get traded in my junior leagues.

@danM88 I see where you're coming from, but let's be real, most top-5 picks don't pan out either, and we just gave away a potential first-round asset for "free". @mike_d22 made this deal happen, and I'd love to get more info on what exactly went down here.
